Gearboxes are mechanical components of relatively simple construction, yet they perform a crucial power transmission function. This is also the main reason for their long-term wear. At Matris, we possess all the necessary machinery and expertise for the processing and refurbishment of gearboxes of various sizes: appropriately sized cranes, tools, CNC machining centers, grinding machines, and laser welders. We can refurbish or manufacture every individual component.

Vacuum and other pumps

For vacuum pumps and other types of pumps, we are neither direct representatives nor authorized service providers. However, with our knowledge gained from extremely demanding practical cases, we are often the best choice for resolving emerging issues. We do not rely solely on manufacturers’ technical specifications; it is more important for us to ensure the long-term operation of the device, even by selecting better and more durable components than those originally defined by the manufacturers. Fans

The situation with fans is similar to that of pumps. We do not only refurbish motors, but also transmissions and, ultimately, the fan/ventilation section. We balance shafts and refurbish impellers.

Shaft

Shafts occur in many machine components (motors, fans, pumps, etc.) and we can be said to be specialists in balancing, rebuilding and new ones.

Brakes

Despite its importance, the electric motor brake is often overlooked. Given its function and operation, a malfunction can cause significant collateral damage. Many people do not even consider that a brake can be refurbished or that it is financially viable to do so.

The advantage of having your brakes rebuilt at a Matris Service Centre is that it improves them by using repro materials of a higher quality than is usual or required by the manufacturer.
