In doing so, the device relies on an optical position encoder with a repeatability of 0.001. The device is controlled via a Human<em>Machine Interface (<\/em>HMI) display and the processing is handled by a<em>Programmable Logic Controller<\/em>(PLC). Adjustments can be made to the stroke length during grinding, to the various feed speeds and rotational speeds and, if necessary, to the micro-adjustments of the grinding angle.   <\/p>\n<p>The operator is able to use the device independently after a relatively short training period. CNC machine cone geometry repair can be carried out in a very short time, usually within one eight-hour working day, which means huge savings for the machine owner. <\/p>\n<p><!--EndFragment
